Pelton / impeller
The rotor meter can be used on most liquids where the rotor movement is not disturbed. The metering head with rotor has a geometric shape that helps provide a linear measurement signal.
The flow meter consists of a rotor mounted in the liquid flow where it rotates proportionally to the liquid speed. On the rotor blades, embedded sensors cause flux change in a pick up coil which detects the rotational speed and hence the flow rate.
The impeller flowmeter is very robust and it can be used in pipe diameters from 40 … 2500 mm. It can be used in pipe diameters from 40 … 2500 mm and is easy to install directly into a 1.5 “or 2” sleeve. If a full ball valve is fitted, the flow meter can be pulled out during operation.
